Congratulations to our Kitchen Supervisor Michelle Creed at Broadford Primary School has reached the Regional heats, which is being held on 10th January 2017

The menu, which was tested on Year 6 children at Broadford School went down very well.
Contract Extension

We are busy installing the first re-branding of the “Delish” secondary school catering concept at Redden Court School, which will be finished in time for the schools return next week.
This exciting new brand will delivery freshly made food for the children and staff within our secondary schools

Drapers Brookside Primary celebrates Queens Birthday
Drapers Brookside Primary celebrated the Queens 90th Birthday in style with party held in their playground, with the food prepared and served by our great team on-site. The event was a huge success with all the children decorating the playground with models of famous Landmarks and even a bake off competition for the best cake.


Roots to Food & HCS comes to the Kids Activity Expo
Roots to Food made a welcome visit to the annual “Kids Activity Expo” held at Coopers Company & Coburn School yesterday (Sunday 22nd May 16) to show the children how to prepare and Cook, fun & healthy nutritious food, Hosted by Roots to Foods Darren Tinkler, aided by HCS Area Manager Terry Tabrett.

Food for Life – Silver Award
Havering Catering Services (HCS) are pleased to announce that we have retained our Soil Association Food for Life Silver status, which re-affirms our commitment to providing our schools with nutritional healthy menus that exceed the School Meal Plan standards and guarantees locally sourced ingredients and homemade dishes where appropriate , Dennis Brewin Head of Catering Operations HCS said “I am delighted to announce that Havering Catering Services have retained the Silver Food For Life Accreditation for this up and coming year, I am immensely proud of the Partnership we have with the Soil Association and you can be safe in the knowledge this accreditation confirms that your Child gets the best at lunchtime”
Hall Mead School Contract Extension
Havering Catering Services are delighted to announce that we have extended our partnership with Hall Mead for a further 3 years and look forward to supplying the pupils and staff with great healthy and fresh food from our innovative menus.
