Our new Secondary School Concept “Delish” Coming to a school near you soon
Coming to a secondary school near you, our new fresh innovative concept “Delish” bringing your the freshest, healthy menus to you school.
We are rolling out this exciting concept during October along with our new Autumn/winter menu.
As well as new menus we have refreshed the counters and serveries to give a vibrant modern look which we hope you will like!.
sQuid Dinner Money, coming to a school near you soon
From September 16 we will be introducing a new innovative way to pay for your child’s school dinner, which will mean you will no longer have to worry about purchasing dinner tickets or even worse your child loosing them.
We will be rolling out the system between September 16 & April 17, so please look out for when your school is due to commence
The online sQuid dinner money application will enable you to pay for your child’s meals online and even in some cases pre-select your child’s meal. Don’t worry you will receive all the information from your school in shortly on how to create an account.
A list of schools on the initial roll out are below, with exact dates to follow, please bear this in mind when purchasing dinner tickets in the interim.

Benhurst Year 6’s Gala Dinner
Havering Catering Services and the year 6 children of Benhurst Primary school yesterday laid on a leavers Gala Dinner for their parents and favorite teachers.
The event was a huge success and looks like it can turn in an annual event. HCS would like to say a big thank you to Sue Drew, kitchen Supervisor and her team for all their hard work in planning the menus and leading the prep team for the event.
Havering Catering Services Retains Food for Life Silver Standard
Havering Catering Services are proud to announce we have retained our Soil Association Food for Life (FFL) Silver Standard across all our primary schools, this is a testament to the hard work of our teams across the borough and the managers involved in ensuring we provide quality meals to the children of Havering that are from Ethical and environmentally friendly produce.

Delish Branding completed at Hall Mead School
Havering Catering Services have completed our 3rd re-branding of our secondary school dining areas with our new “Delish” brand of healthy meals, drinks and snacks.
Sanders Extension to SLA signed
HCS are pleased to announce we have extended our deal with Sanders Secondary School for a further three years. Area manager Clare Rideout said “We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Sanders, and look forward to providing quality healthy meals for the next three years and beyond”
HCS cook reaches regional final of LACA SCOTY 2017
Congratulations to our Kitchen Supervisor Michelle Creed at Broadford Primary School has reached the Regional heats, which is being held on 10th January 2017
The menu, which was tested on Year 6 children at Broadford School went down very well.

Delish to be launched at Redden Court School
We are busy installing the first re-branding of the “Delish” secondary school catering concept at Redden Court School, which will be finished in time for the schools return next week.
This exciting new brand will delivery freshly made food for the children and staff within our secondary schools
